Apologies for this VERY tardy race report. I’ve had a particularly busy holiday season and then busy January, but I’m looking forward to getting back on track with blogging and documenting. But, it’s almost like a Throwback Thursday to publish this now. First in the chute is my race report for the Tannenbaum 10k which was held on Sunday, December 6, 2015. Oakville Half-Marathon Pace Report

Last Sunday I had the pleasure of pacing the Nutrience Oakville Half-Marathon. It was my 3rd time pacing this race, and my slowest pacing assignment yet! I previously I discussed how I “accidentally” registered for this assignment. Chilly Goals

On Sunday I will be running the Chilly Half-Marathon in Burlington as the 2:20 run-walk (r/w) pace bunny. This will be the 4th year in a row I’ve run this race, and my second time pacing it.   I volunteered to be a pacer at this race for a few reasons. My true goal for the season is the Goodlife Fitness Toronto Marathon. It’s the first serious full-marathon I’ve done in almost 3 years. Niagara Half-Marathon Goals

Before anything else, I’d like to congratulate everyone that ran events as part of the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon. It’s a great big event, and so many of you were out there as a part of it! Congratulations!! I feel a little bittersweet about not running it this year. I  broke a streak! My first half-marathon was Scotia in 2010, then I ran the full in 2011, I paced the full in 2012, and I completed the set by running the 5k last year. This year, nothing! Return to Pacing!

I recently found out that I will be the 2:30 continuous pacer at the Niagara Falls Half-Marathon this fall! Nicole will be pacing the half too! I’m approaching it with a mixture of excitement and trepidation. My actual goal race for this season is the Ottawa Army Run Half-Marathon in September. I’m also doing the Disneyland Half-Marathon at the end of August for fun and the Rock ‘n’ Roll Las Vegas Half-Marathon in November back-up goal race or fun run.
