Pacing A Lot In The Fall!

After my fun experience being a pace bunny at the Oakville Half-Marathon last fall, I decided to apply to pace a bunch of other races this year. I enjoy running a little slower, it’s a new challenge, and I save a bunch of cash too. Yay for fad diets?

I’m very apprehensive posting this, but I imagine sharing this will be a bit of motivation. I’ve always been overweight or obese, and this running and fitness thing is a very recent development in my life. Although I’ve made great improvements in my health, my body composition and weight have become stuck at a certain point. Now that I see some of my former students passing me, I realize I need to step up my nutrition to keep up. I actually had a really good handle on my weight about a year ago. Radcliffe Heraldry

This post isn’t actually about running, but I wanted to share it anyways. On my trip to Londom for the Virgin London Marathon, I happened upon a gentleman named David Linstead in a market who made coat of arms plaques. It took him only a few minutes to research what the Radcliffe Hearaldry would l have looked liked. I have wanted one for a while, so I commissioned him to make one for me.
